WOW, did your friend buy it sight unseen? I hope he saw all that before he bought it. I guess it wasnt as good a deal as it seemed. Could have gotten a nice one for around $4500 or $5000.

He drove three and a half hours to get it, and the seller wouldn't budge on the price that they had negotiated on the phone ($3500), so he picked it up anyways. I should have rode with him. This thing looks like the seller might have let everyone in south Florida who owned a similar car switch out their junk/broken 98-99 TA parts onto one car.

I traded my stock 93 LT1 camaro for a 98 trans am in alot better shape then that. What a waist of a car!!!
My TA isnt perfect but it is nice. Needs some work but was a good deal.
