I dont like that young kid "techinical advisor" or whatever. I dont watch the show enough to know his name but in my opinion neither of them know anything about cars. I could name 20 people from this site that know more about cars then they do.

Be good to see ya again Kevin. Let's hope the good air stays for an eight second pass.
Tally, you know Gainesville can be strict on tech, but I've also see night they are lax a little. Not as lax as other places I won't mention, but considering it's a filmed deal I'd say bring what you need to be legal.

That would make my night! I was watching him get interviewed on Barrett Jackson and he actually admitted he knew nothing about cars until he started this show....

He may not know much about cars but at least he came up with a good show idea. Tell me where else small time guys get the chance for $10K at a $40 entry fee plus the exposure. I'm not defending him on the knowledge, but I'm all about seeing the little guys get their time in the sun!

^ From what I've heard about tech inspections at these shows so far I don't think you'll have a problem. I don't know about Gainseville, but every other all out show I've heard about they are so swamped to try and process everyone they don't give two hoots about what you have.

autodad, I'm pretty sure the tickets for racers are sold out by now. They went on sale 2 weeks ago.
