Default OSW last night

Ran a new best of 13.542@104.9mph last night, on a 2.23 60'. This was in the right lane, I actually ran my worse time in the left lane. Granted I'm on street tires and only putting down 300rwhp, so I suppose I can't be a judge in the whole left vs. right lane argument. Ran pretty much the same in both lanes last night out there.

z28youho, you out there last night? Looked like your car. There was also a midnight blue looking LS1 T/A with LT1wheels on the back with D/R's. Also a pewter LS1 SS, but the guy said he doesn't come on here. Then there is that woman with the other silver/pewter car with a orange hockey stripe deal. talked to them, real strong setup in that car. Not sure what looked better, the car or the person driving it.
A couple LT1 Z28's were out last night, not sure what those guys were running, I know a black one called me out at the front of the line, I'm always amused by that. Points at my car, I hear the guy lining us up last night, "Oh you want to run your own car?" Don't know what happened to that black Z28 but he called it quits after that run, wonder if he broke something?

Great time though, ran all 13's, no more 14's for this guy. I like how every time I go I improve, even if there is months in between. I dialed my spohn T/A to -1, -1.5 or so, I don't know hard to read the angle finder if you ask me. I don't think I can do much with the horrible Riken Raptor street tires though. I was all around 2.2-.3 60 foot last night, better than the 2.5-.7's I had been running.

Oh yeah I got 5 runs in last night, and I got there about at 7. If I got there when it opened I would have gotten 6 maybe 7 runs in. I seem to have good luck when I head out there, which is good cause its a hell of a trek for me.

Yes, very nice! Now with your setup, was it cost effective, or is it just easier to tune? When I walked over there and saw what was under the hood, not what you expect.

z28youho, tell the guy with the black car good luck. Sucks about the clutch, I completely destroyed a Centerforce DF while on vacation 2 winters back. Not the greatest feeling in the world.

well I had a complete FAST efi system and it was just a pain in the ***... EFI for some reason never really worked for me. so for me, yes, it is easier to tune. can't argue with the horsepower either. Also, the carb just kinda looks cool sitting under there...

dang, sounds like I missed out, lots of runs, a hot chick who works on her car and is on the forum, and my buddy blew up the stock bottom end (though a valve guide was the culprit) 302 in his dad's fox body, man, I knew I shoulda gone instead of seeing iron man.

There were a lot of nasty cars out there that night. More amusement than the other times I had been out there. One thing that stuck out was that stock looking WRX, that was ripping off low 11's. I bet some people have been shocked by that thing out on the streets.

I might get out there on the 16th, if I go my goal will be to get some 2.1 60' or better. It has to be possible even on the crappy street tires.
