Default Orange Bowl almost gone

Well I drove by the OB today and saw that she is almost completely gone. The demolition crews should be done in a couple of days. It is sad to see her go, I remember my dad putting me on his lap and teaching me to drive on one of her parking lots. If everything goes as planned this will be the new home for the Florida Marlins.

Sucks to see it gone, i remember seeing it all the time while heading to the beach. The last time i passed by there was very little of it left, now theres nothing. All just so the Marlins who have almost no attendance can get a fresh stadium, its all bullshit.

i played in that hell hole once, good riddance... the visiting locker rooms were horrible, much like veterans stadium... they should build a new football stadium there, not give a new baseball stadium to a failing franchise

yea it was a hell hole lol. And they should build the Dolphins/Canes a new stadium there and let the Marlins keep Joe Robby. The few FAU games that were there (pro player) and one Bills/Dolphins game I went to, it just felt like you were sitting way to far back from teh field compared to any other stadium.

I saw lots of great Dolphin games there, including getting to see the Dolphins beat the undefeated Chicago Bears in 85. Thats sad to see it go.

Unfortunately i see the 'canes getting the dolphins curse. They haven't done a damn thing, and have gone down hill since going to Joe Robbie/Dolphin Stadium. Now the Marlins who have decent team(for now) and horrible attendance get a brand new stadium. Yeah the stadium was going down hill fast, but to destroy all the history that took place there is just horrible.

^ That isn't enough..Wonder how long after the new Marlins stadium has lost its luster will it take before they start talking about moving the team elsewhere?
