Palm Bay Fires Anyone from Palm Bay on here?
Everything ok? looks like hell on that side of town. I am siting here at work and my fraking clothes smell like smoke.

I drove through them yesterday afternoon on 95 - the visability was nasty. The were just shutting down the Palm Bay Rd exit when I passed through. According to the signs, everything North of SR60 is shut down.
I had to ride up to Palm Bay to drop paperwork off at my office. Getting there wasn't so bad but the way home was a nightmare. Seemed like every major artery was closed. My boss (lives in Malabar) said he was up all night putting out small fires around his property. Scary stuff.
i wanna know WTF is up with these ppl lighting the fires! i mean seriously why in the hell would anyone do that and ruin ppls lifes by destroying there property and land. i would kill a bitch
Just watched on the news and i guess they caught some guy that was attempting to start a fire.. fire dept put it out before it caused any damage though..****** pyros god damn them!

I'm in Central Florida, and I drive the 417 everyday to get to my office. yesterday i saw firetrucks just hosing the grass and trees and everything. They are trying everything they can to stop the chance of a fire.
There was no fire there, nothing, they were literally just soaking the area to prevent fires.
Good luck to everyone out there.
And I heard this morning one possibly started out in the Bithlo area.

Do you know a guy named John? He is a PJ and stationed at PAFB.
I just had lunch with him and he starts telling me about a friend who's barn burned down and said I jumped in a saaid it had a 94 Z motorcycle, ect.. and he said how did you know?
He said your Bike was sweet..
Yeah I've worked with John for years. Even though he's a ford guy, we're still buddies.

yeah my house is all good burnt directly across the street and the east side of my house as well...when i left fire was at both ends of the street and the back way out was starting to catch so we left...**** happened so fast it it burnt a 3mile long by two mile stretch completely in less than 3 hours...there weren't any firefighters around it happened so fast it was insane!!

I felt sick the first time I saw it. To think of what was lost, the fun and many years I had, it ran EASY 11's for the last 5-6 years... Stay out of boost and it behaved like stock, I even drove it back from Missouri, never got hot, shifted well and was tuned like a top (Thanks to DTK, if you're out there). When I moved back this past winter, I was driving it to & from Orlando every day for work. Still it barely had 68-70K miles... The Talon had $4k+ in the build and sadly wasn't insured. I only had a little exhaust fab and tuning left before I got it on the street. Rebuilt the bike 2 winters ago and was looking forward to the 50mpg fun. BUT like I mentioned, more was lost by many others and I'm just glad it seems to be under control now. Take care.
