willing to pay for help!!!

My car has a brake lights issue.. I need to get my brake lights working. I think I may need to run an independent electric switch and stuff to make them work.. i have a few ideas, I just dont know exactly how to do it.. WILL PAY GOOD FOR THE HELP + PARTS!!!!

whats wrong with the lights? It may just be a fuse..

No need to pay someone to do something so simple..

not a fuse. fuse has power to it.. brake lights have no power, brake switch has no power and the connector towards the back that connects to the socket wires.. has no power the brake switch is missing a connection

i dont have that 4 pin connector. just dont have it.. no idea wtf.

im sure you dont need to run a seperate switch for this problem. let me look up some diagrams and see if i can come up with something.

Do you have a thumping system by any chance? I'm just asking, its ghetto sounding I know, but I hooked my brake lights on my 83 z28 to the amp I had at the time for power.

Once I got the 94 I swore I wouldn't do anything rigged up again though or have a thumping stereo.

no. i ahve a sony xplod head unit. 1 pass front blown speaker, 1 pass back blown speaker and 2 driver side, good speakers

i bought a DD today guys so im giong to be able to try and work on it more

is the brake switch bad?

remove the connection from the switch and check for power at the connector. if there is none, you may just need to run a new lead from the panel to the switch. no biggie.

Before you go crazy ripping panels off I'd just pop the one that mounts beneath the steering column off. That should give you quite a bit of room to look around. If I remember correctly I think there's only 5 screws that hold it on.
