Looks like fun. It doesn't look like it was that cold judging by what you're wearing.

Looks awesome, makes me miss it. Lived there for 4 years, would give anything to go back. I've given serious thought about going back, just too damn expensive trying to get a job lined up considering my career field. Believe it or not, pretty decent car scene in the Anchorage area and one of, if not the most beautiful 1/4 track in the country.

You can travel where the hell you want to... The OP sounded like he went to Alask to catch alot of fish. You can do that in the Atlantic for a hell of alot cheaper, since his location says Jax Beach. Dump point I guess.

But I am sure Alaska would be a hell of a state to go check out.

LOL at the name of the fishing business name.

Alaska is awesome! I spent a week there and damn near wanted to stay. The locals told me I can't because people born and raised in Florida will die when winter hits and there's nothing they could do to save me. lol

No comparison whatsoever. Alaska kicks Florida's ***, and I love Florida.

not necessarily to catch "big fish" but to catch some pacific halibut/salmon/cod/rockfish. also my father works on the north slope, and i meet him in anchorage once a year to visit/fish. IT WAS A BLAST! the temp averaged around 60-65 mid-day to 35-40 in the mornings. and thats summer, i couldnt hang during winter

Winter is no worse than most places that get snow, atleast Anchorage isn't. Fairbanks is another story, it gets straight cold up there for weeks at a time.
