Welcome to the Plywood State, where residents are barely potty trained or fart dust, where residents know they are living in a sitting duck for intense storms and STILL head to the local Wal-Mart for batteries and water 2 hours before the storm makes landfall, where residents..... are..... well.... brainless.

Well here is how it seems to go for me. Driving my truck around, or in a friends car, there will be tons of vehicles I would love to be running. Take the Z28 out, and it seems like once in a blue moon I run across something to run and the conditions are right. I remember 01-02, my senior year, that it seemed like a race at every other traffic light after 11PM. Now for some reason there is still some traffic and mostly minivans? I should stop being lazy and drive a hour to Tampa.

I feel the same way....
I've only raced a few of my friends when we would take both of our cars somewhere. Its tough to just stumble upon a race, and traffic is usually the killer.

I remember when I was going to FAU the f-body/muscle car scene sucked. Not just street racing but in general. Seems as if everyone down there is driving mommy an daddies BMW, Merc, Audi, ect. Or just super riced out VWs or Honders. The night life made up for it though, I really didn't have the money to go out racing anyways or worry about breaking parts.

The Greek life isn't bad at FAU either compared to other major universities in the state, there are some massive tools in it, but not nearly as many as at other universities. I met a ton of ladies through it as well. There are a ton of other things to do down there other than street race. Beach, football games, bars, clubs, learn how to surf, ect.

Because only real cars were made previous 1983.... It's just an excuse for some fucksticks to have it there way with no punks or outsiders, or people who can't afford a really nice oldie.

I don't know about you, but I try to stay AWAY from the bridges on Saturday nights. Too much rice. Tampa has an awesome group of racers if you know where to find it.

when i lived in boca there was nothing but ricers and old ***** in 600+hp from the factory mercedes who wanted to race. Really it was one of the most boring "car" cities to live in unless you get a boner when you see the same 10 BMWs at a stop light. Downtown Ft. Lauderdale you could see some badass exotics though.
