UPDATE 25NOV09:

We have some more teaser info yet again LOL.....

As of right now the kit will be a single/twin modular hybrid....

What that means is the single kit will be upgradeable to the twin kit.
Alternator relocation will not be necessary.
A/C will be retained.

Pics coming soon.......

thanks,

Rob@modularturbo

Got ahold of ya this mornin, let ya know what my plans are. I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do now after thinking it over a couple hours.

Left ya a voicemail, give me a call back. I'll be able to answer almost anytime today, I have a presentation at 3:30 CST (half hour away from posting this).

Well.................

$2000.00 is definitely not going to happen at this point.

Here is why.................

First off the kit will be available for purchase by the end of MARCH 2010!!!!!
Second; We have spent 2 years on this kit and at this point with all the money and time we have into this kit, we are going to have to charge more than we anticipated.

We took into account everything that you the customer inputted to us in this thread, also we took a LONG HARD look at the APS kit, and with all this information we compiled what we thought was the best route to take in its engineering.

Here is where we are thus far:
Complete Saturday bolt on in the driveway ordeal!!!!
Single T4 and Twin T4 available
Retains A/C
K member included (APS kit requires that you purchase a BMR K member separate)
Starter included (lighter than stock)
Air to water intercooling system included. (Eliminates cooling issues and A/C problems that the APS kit has)
And a few other awesome and revolutionary touches.
T4 MP, Turbonetics, and Precision turbo compatible. (NO Chinese Mitsu knock offs like the APS kit)
TiAL and JGS compatible.
Minimal modifications to vehicle nothing intrusive in anyway (APS instruction have you cut the body more than 20 times)
Fits 6.0L, 5.7L, and 6 bolt standard deck height LSX / Warhawk block engines
No alternator relocation.

With all this comes a price.... I initially intended to offer an inexpensive hotside kit, but I ended up on a different path. I feel that with APS pulling out of the market it would be a great time to offer a replacement that was superior.

But if you are looking for the entire enchilada...

WE ARE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND ITS COMING SOON!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand why $2000 isn't going to happen, but the $5500 for the other APS and other turbo kits isn't in my cards either. What about something in between? Like a kit for $3500-$4500 depending on single vs. twin.

Yeah, I'd like to see something a little bit on the cheaper side too. Hell, if the R&D is what you're trying to make up for then have you considered selling something even more basic to a "hot pipe" kit? How about a kit that doesn't include any pipe at all, but the plans (like from AUTOCAD) for how an individual would go about cutting and welding their system together. Sort of an Ultimate How-To, plus critical parts, like VBand Clamps; Turbo; Wastegate; intercooler; flanges; and any specialty brackets or components that would be unique to your setup. You supply the blue prints, give us a few parts to work with, and send us out with a shopping list (1 mile of 3" pipe, 71 180* mandrel bend sections, passenger exhaust manifold from an aircraft carrier, flux capacitor, etc.).

Hell... If I had the dimensions I could probably draw it up in cad for you.

I guess the whole budget thing went out the window which is understandable but alot of people that have been waiting for the "budget" turbo kit just lost out.
