Id say keep the radiator in the stock spot, keep a/c,include some slimmer fans that work, and use some kinda truck/c6 manifold setup to keep costs down.

I think having a kit available in stages would be a good idea. Selling just hot parts, then for x amount you can have a turbo, wastegate, IC and cold parts, alternator relocation kit, amount for a complete kit. I know its wishful thinking, but who knows.

I dont think standing up the alternator is a big deal. I personally do not care about a/c but I'm sure there are many that do. Good luck with this I'm sure once you get one going word of mouth will help out as long as you have them available when you sell them.

Sounds like what a lot of us have been wishing for!
If it is possible to do a truck manifold/C6 manifold kit that keeps the stock k-member (might need to route a tube outside the k-member) and keeps A/C would be a winner. Might be limited on downpipe size with a stock k-member and motor mounts though. With the BMR turbo k-member you could easily do a 3.5"-4" DP.

keep it as a hot side and basic turbo (ie mpt70 or smaller/cheeper) and the cheep 38mm wg, 3in. dp for 2k$ or less
let the end user configure there own cold side, fmic, a2w, etc.
i would get in line for a set.

Subscribing to the thread.

Look into the C6 Manifolds and find a way to keep the A/C. I am to slammed to go after that market. It is doable.

Give me a call if you need any ideas. I would like to see this happen. Its always good to see other shops go after the market.

Ok my two cents..
Build a few prototype kits. Then mabye build 5 or so. Sell the 5 and then keep going once people put them on and review them. I would not personally give any small new company any deposit and would only pay for kits in stock and would pay only with visa that protects me for and would press for refund if that kit wasn't shipped and at my door and sent with tracking numbers within a week or so.

I lost 2000 bucks a year ago to a sponsor on this site..GMR speed..This time around I bought from a big company and they shipped out ahead of schedule. No BS. No excuses,no nothing. I did have to give them a deposit though.

So no offence just build your kit and stock 5 and sell them and away you go. Simple really. And most current kits are pretty expensive.

Build it and they will come.

Its cool man, I really am not trying to be a dick but I've been harrassed so much on this site that I have turned over a new slightly more defensive leaf. FI.com is always hacking my stuff.
