Blower Cams
This is the most confusing topic ever. I bought my cam from Futral because its a very good SC cam according to them, but then i see alot of people saying u dont need the high lift with a SC cam. On the other hand there are some people saying high lift helps when u have a SC and good heads. I know that the optimum cam spec for a SC is to have at least 6-10 points difference in duration between the intake and exhaust and .010 lift higher on the exhaust. The LSA should be 114 or higher.
So can we discuss this issue and clear everything up for people who want a SC cam.
Which is better(high lift cam or low lift cam)? Why?

Check out the post I made, that will confuse you ever more....
I'm running a 214/218 .540/.550 114lsa cam in my 372 iron block motor, I personally think that is too small, others may not...In the future, if I'm not happy with what my car does with that cam, I will upgrade to a bigger cam...

Re: Blower Cams
Some of it depends on the type of supercharger you plan on using.
In general adding lift and duration won't help you as much as with a naturally aspirated motor.
Don't overlook the most important part of a SC camshaft and thats Lift Overlap. This occurs when both the exhaust and intake are open for XYZ number of degrees of crankshaft rotation. Keep this # at or as close to Zero as possible and you'll find some positive results.
