Default What do you think of this air filter for my F1A???

I found this air filter http://www.2kracing.com/Product/7522.html.

I am currently running the same air intake assembly as the Bob's Exotic Performance Plus Camaro, its made out of plastic and its got some sharp bends .
So I am thinking of running this straight onto the blower, with no pipe.
Would this work well on the blower? Would it make it louder? It should pick up some power right?
I've moved my radiator up by cutting the upper support so I got some extra room and thought about fabbing a 4" aluminum tube intake, but thought this would be easier and flow a lot more air.

what you guys think?

You also need to think that with that air filter you are getting the hot air that just came through the radiator not cooler air from off to the side. I have the procharger peice that EPP sells. I like it except for the fact that I had to buy a second one when I boosted a charge pipe off and it knocked the inlet off the head unit and I ran over it. $130 right down the drain

I lost my pipe while driving too, I know what u mean about the hot air coming from the radiator, I thought I'd cover the back side of the radiator with an aluminum sheet with the filter behind it.
I sure like to hear from anyone that's tried this filter
