Its got a 91mm Turbo, a boost logic 3.4L stroker, and ran out 5th gear to 9300-9500 RPM. Not sure on the RWHP, but I'm sure its past 900.

at 37psi and no nitrous I would guess ~1200-1300 rwhp.

on kill he is over 40lbs and nitrous. If memory serves, I think he maxed the dyno (1500rwhp) in vegas earily oct.

....sooo.... the car has more in it

It wasn't gutted. In fact, it's one of the nicest street Supras you'll ever see. It also carried the weight of a full cage and safety equipment. It was light for a Supra because it was a hard top and not a targa.

Can't wait to see the LG in-car videos. The car was an animal in person!
Good lord. Everything got really blurry. I couldn't imagine going that fast.

Especially in just 1 mile starting from a dead stop. I am a huge die hard Supra fan, but lets not take this anymore away from Louis and his post.

Lets see the vid of the LG Vette!!

Well, I stand corrected. It just sounded like it had a lot of interior noise on the return road.

I can't wait until LG gets their video together! There's just nothing like the sound of Twins on a BIG LSX V8!!

With the turbos, back in pump gas setup with the fueling sorted out, I see no reason it wont average 28-32 on the highway.

Yes, you put your foot in it its going to go down, but the turbo LS motors in the vettes average 2-4 mpg more than stock.

standing by for the vid. Can't wait for the day an american built car will take the record. No reason an imprted car should have the record in our country! Put a warhawk block in the z06 with 6 bolt warhawk heads and run 30 psi and we would have the record someone just needs to do it. I know its hard in this economy, but we need to DO IT! I think the z06 is the platform to do it in. Much better than the supra or viper.

I don't think the supra or viper has an aluminum unibody designed in 05. The Z06 vette unibody is much stronger than any supras which is pretty much outdated by todays standards.

And that matters why? Supra was designed from the ground up as a forced induction motor..and its still a good chassis by todays standards. Doesn't seem like his chassis was holding him back at 242mph

Just a better platform to harness all the power. Thats all. I think a z06 with a warhawk block and heads and 30 psi and 427 ci would beat the supra without any problems.

I doubt it...I don't know of a T-56 that will harness 1500rwhp in 5 or 6th gear, or a clutch that would hold it. LG is makeing 1000-1100 rwhp already and is 30mph down. Thats a HUGE amount at the texas mile.
