We have the clutch, and we will have the gearbox. I think there was another 5-8 mph, maybe more in the tuneup, launch, shifting, and driver.

We will see what we can do, but they have a LOT of development time on those cars, the last 3 years have been dominated by poopras, it will take a LOT of time and money to do that, which I dont think anyone in the right mind will do.

Dunlop Race slicks off the ALMS car. They are certified to well over 200, and were taller for the gearing.

I believe the Texas Mile stafff made an exception to LG to run without a cage (mandatory over 190mph) if and only if Lou drove the car. Having multiple national championship victories as a professional race car driver was enough for them to allow the exception.

Great video Louis. Even got to see myself at 1:47 LOL.

its probibly just a fully built regular old t56. It will hold the power. A triple disk clutch will hold 1600 or so rwhp also. Just ordinary over the counter parts.

Not quite, but good guess

We had the clutch in there, and there is still one pressure plate left, and then the move from a 3 plate carbon to a 4 plate carbon that is holding 1600+

^ A 4 plate carbon clutch must cost a small fortune.

WOW!! It didn't sound like the Vette was even breathing hard!! Once the car hooks in the lower gears, LGM shouldn't be too far from that record. Congrats Guys!!

Louis who makes your four plate clutch? Never heard of one? I know RPS makes a real nice carbon carbon triple?
