If there is a big cam in the car you may want to think about doing a set of patriot dual springs. If its a small cam the 918's will probably be fine.

PRC or Patriot golds. I prefer PRC because the retainers don't use the nasty and heavy super7 locks. The big super7 locks defeat the purpose and expense of using titanium retainers.

Isn't float more associated with RPM?
If so, what rpm are you trying to reach?
I had my heads built by a pro and he had no problem with the 918s.

When boosted, you have to consider what the boost takes away from your spring pressure. If you have a 2" intake valve, it has a surface area of ~3 square inches. With 10 pounds of boost, that equates to a reduction in effective spring pressure by ~ 30lbs. Now factor in your RPM! I ran 918's on low boost. No way I would run 918's on anything making 10psi or more.

I also agree. 918's would probably be good to 500 or 600 without a big cam. But shooting for 800 whp i would definatly go for doubles, patriot or prc. Both are great products.
