BTW. This is a locals experience when his China-Bay gate stuck and his 74mm GT42, on a 2.0L, spiked to ~60psi on a 3rd gear pull. That cheap gate cost him the complete motor and a BB turbo. Ouch.

So far you are one person that knows some one that had a problem out of like 10 (I didn't count) and that don't really sound like any worse odds then getting a name brand one. Anyone else?

there not a lot cheaper than the Tial's but $100 is a $100, thanks for the info, what about clipping the spring or something to get down to the boost level we run (they come with 14 and 17 psi)
