Turbo info This is for the turbo gu-roo's. I'm wondering if a turbo off of a big diesel truck (like bus or dump truck) can be adapted to a gas engine. I can get hold of a brand new one for next to nothing from a buddy of mine who is a diesel machanic. He is supposed to be getting me the numbers off it this week to see what kind it is and what not.

Re: Turbo info I saw one setup from a cummins put on a second gen carburated model (455)everything was done for under 900. bucks i couldne believe it he had a 16 pound radiator cap setup for a waste gate the car was awesome and the installation was very clean looking. I tried to find the link sorry guess i tossed it.

Re: Turbo info Yeah I would like to play around with it to see what it would do on some motor, but I'm thinking with it being so big that its going to have lag bad, and need alot of exhaust to get it spinning. I also wonder how much boost it'll make. Ow well I guess I need to do alot of research on it. Thanks
