So you plan on running a .750lift cam on the STREET to get full use of your head's???? Your car must be a weekend warrior rather than a daily driver?

Thats exactly what i was thinking...... keeping what he has is a total waste of $$...

Who helped you choose parts??

It looks to be you didnt research what it takes to make 750-800rwhp....
If you want to run 7's (and still lift heads like crazy) then some of the parts will work well togeather...

why waste the $$ on a LSX block to run 4 bolt heads..... yes the cubes are there but the bigest gain from an LSX block is the provisions for 6 head bolts per cyl.
That way u can keep the heads down while running more boost.

Like most have said....... a $3500-4K short block with $2300 heads and an LS6 intake with a 85-88mm turbo can make that power on pump 93.

The parts you have chosen are awsome pieces that would make up two diferent motors....... an awsome N/A motor... solid roller with the C5R heads and the start of an awsome FI motor....

who's going to build the motor???
Id sit down with them and plan the build/motor out with them.

HKE will be building the engine. But you guys are right the C5R setup would be better suited for a NA. I have a LS3 that I just bought from the salvage. I should consider building this engine instead.
