methanol injection how does it work i searched but i havent found the response i needed, does it turn on at a certain rpm? can i control it manualy, or can i do both?

im planning on a magnacharger setup for my fbdoy, with a 383, i hear that the maggie gets hot iacs after 600 hp, will the alky system help me lower those to run 8 psi safely on the egine

You can run any window switch or any series of window switches that you want to make it activate. RPM, Boost, Throttle position, EGT, etc. You can set them up similer to safty switches for nitrous. Once all your switches reach the correct range then the system will activate. Most people just run a boost based switch so when the desired boost is reached the kit activates but like i said you can add as many switches to as many functions as you would like.

There isn't a hole lot too it. Probably the biggest two things are the pump and the nozzle. Other then that the only other components are the lines, reserve, wiring, and switches. Very simple when you think about it.
it seems to be straight forward so i cant understand the 500 dollar price tag Well i think snows base kit is in the 300 bucks range if i am not mistaken. But i agree if you are just trying to build a simple basic kit you should be able to build one under 200 with the most expensive part being the pump some where in the 80-120 bucks range.
From what I saw when researching it looked like almost all of the kits used the same design and same or similar pump. I went with the snow performance stage 2 (god I hate that word) boost kit. You dial in at what boost it should start spraying and also dial in at what boost it should be full on. It then scales the amount based on what boost it sees.
