Yeah there is a mile of clearance from under neath on mine, due to the abnormal headers. Makes spark plug changes easy though!
FYI, I would not be able to fit a 5 1/16" pipe if there was a thing. It is tight in a few places.

you did what i wanna do with my exhaust plus you will save some weight not going all the way back. make sure you get some idle clips i wanna hear how she sounds

looks great. i did the one just like that. i did full four inch from turbo back. i went under the motor mount. but liek you said it wouldn't have happened with stock mounts. the solids were key

Saved some weight that way, and it is also aluminized so I saved some weight there also. Since the weather is getting bad I am going to take it all off soon and repaint it and wrap it. It gets pretty hot in the bay just at idle so I can only imagine what it will be like on a spirited run.
