Bump for an update... A Thunder Racing or Katech belt tensioner would be a good investment if you have some extra cash.

I'm going to try and get some more pics up tomorrow, but here are just some more of test fitting my cooling fans and a quickie of my pillar gauge pod a gauge from Glowshift. I just threw in a gauge real quick.

as for the catch can, make sure you put some steel wool in there to act as a baffle

as far as how it works valve cover/crankcase breather---->catch can---->intake (unpressurized side before the turbo), just make sure you have a large enough inlet and outlet for all of your tubing

Heres some of my merge all tacked together and a pipe tacked on tryin to figure out how I'm going to do the wastegate. I made the merge from two U-bends from Summit, just cut in half, giving me four 90 degree bends. It worked out perfectly and didn't waste any metal.

I have been searching around tryin to figure out how people are bracing thier turbos and couldn't find much so I decided to come up with my own idea. I know it's probably not necessary to brace the turbo, especially with the smaller T-70 I'm using, but I figured it wouldn't hurt. I came up with this idea, mounting it using bolt holes where the a/c and alternator used to be.

Since I'm getting a lot of questions about the alternator bracket, here is a pic of the relocated tensioner pulley.

A couple more of the merge and brace together. I made the brace so it kind of had the same angle as the merge pipe, just tryin make things look good. I took everthing into consideration and stepped down the one side of the brace for my oil drain. As you can see it will be a straight shot right into the front of the oil pan.

Heres some more of the brace and cleaning up the welds. I just made the brace from 3/4" square tubing, 1/8" thick steel for the mounts to the block, and 3/16" flat stock for where it mounts to the t-4 flange. I also welded some of the 3/16" steel to back side of the 1/8" steel to stiffin it up a bit. I would have used 3/16" all the way around but I was just using what I had, it works and it's strong.

Looking good man. Nice work. I recommend looking into a Rev Xtreme tensioner pulley though. My old STS turboed Z28 would pitch the belt because it would walk over the short lip on the stock pulley. With you having the smooth pulley with no edges at all it might walk of very easy.

brace shouldn't really be needed with the truck manifolds...the crossover is plenty strong to support the 20lbs of turbo that it has to hold, the truck manifolds won't be fazed either.
IMHO....I run no support and haven't had any issues.

I have never supported anything but the Mid and Large frame units. Never once have I had a problem. That support looks like it will interfere with the DP routing unless I am missing something....
