I'll be gettin some more pics up the weekend. I finished up intercooler pipe, made a downpipe, and moved wastegate a little. Now my car looks done but I have a bunch of things to finish, like wiring fuel pump, wire gauges and making catch can, wraping pipes. Only thing I have left to buy is injectors. Any particular brand? I assume I should run 60#'s.

60's should be fine. I'm going to have to get 60's, I think the 42.5's won't be enough.

I welded a bunch of scrap pieces I had from making my true duals, to make my downpipe. I actually worked out perfect because I had to wiggle it down between the motor, k-member and motor mount on the passenger side. I didn't make it any longer or I couldn't get it in and out, I think I'll just leave it at that. It stops right at the end of the oil pan, at the bell housing.

flange the other end and continue on to dump it a lil further back to avoid getting a bunch of fumes in the car.

I moved the wastegate a little and made a dump tube to keep try and keep the heat/exhaust gasses away from the intercooler pipe.

That's what I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave the downpipe like that or make it longer, cause I have another v-band clamp and flanges. I don't think I will get anymore fumes than with my true duals I had before, they were dumped under the rear seats.

Here's some pics of the done intercooler pipe, well almost done. I just bought a universal kit off of ebay and some silicon reduces for the throttle body such. Intercooler pipe is 3" from the turbo to the MAF. One concern I had was that I had to cut some of the pipe shorter, now the beads on the end of the pipe are gone. Am I going to have to worry about the pipes blowing off? I'm only going to be running 5 psi.

Thats similar to where I put my bov. I have a problem with the silicone on the throttle body coming off. I ordered a wider clamp, hopefully that will fix that. Just tighten the clamps and you shouldn't have any problems.

How is your ground clearance with the wastegate/dump tube? Im running a similar kit and the wastegate is pretty much at the level of the air dam. Im kinda worried im going to take it out if i ever hit a good speed bump or just pull in to far in a parking spot.

Or lift the wheels off the ground and land really hard, lol.

5psi you'll probably be ok if you have good clamps. run a small bead around the edge of the pipe with the welder

I haven't cut the dump tube yet. I'm planing on cutting it at the same level as the bottom of the k-member If I bottom out enough to hit it then, I have more problems than just a scraped up dump tube.

I painted my manifolds and heatshields with VHT flameproof paint and wraped my merge pipe. Now I can start on the final assembly. What do I do with the dipstick? Or what dipstick do I buy? Tried bending it a little and couldn't get it to fit. Looks like it needs a hell of a lot of bending to fit.

If you went through the trouble of fabbing a pipe for the wastegate out, why not route it into the downpipe. Want it loud?

Do you have pics of oil drain? Looks like the turbo sits too low for the gravity drain?

Sorry, I kind of been lazy and havent been posting much. My car is done and and got dyno tuned at Backstreet Performance. So far so good. Made 482HP and 478TQ on 6psi, on an 80* day with 53% humidity. I have only drivin it 300 mile or so but everything is working perfectly, I have no problems.....yet. My turbo does sit kind of low but I have no smoking what so ever. I did restrict the oil feed with a .060" nitrous jet. It feels really strong, I'm at full boost before 3,000 RPM. My tuner did suggest I get a new cam though, but it seems to be working alright. I did forget to take my camera to the dyno so I have no videos, sorry. I'll hopefully try and get some videos while I'm crusin around or something, and get some more photos on here. Now that it is all finished it looks good, everyone thinks its a kit I bought.

PS: Already have a built 347 foxbody mustang kill under my belt. Next up is an Evo evo built by buscher racing, and an 03 mustang cobra with a whipple supercharger. Wish me luck.
