overheating with a new procharger

Default overheating with a new procharger

Need a extra electric fan 9".
Where can I get one from that fits into the thin space?

you really need a new radiator if you want to do it correctly. A fan is only a band-aid. There is not enough surface area in the stock radiator to reject the heat.

What Procharger are you using? Did you go to the single fan? I have the D1SC with a single fan and have had no problems.

It is also very easy to wire up the fan backwards, make sure it is pulling air through the radiator, not blowing air towards it. Bob

I think the stock radiator is fine, its just a matter of airflow. Lots of guys making crazy power on the stock radiator.

Also check fan direction as mentioned, tune, and water pump. My ewp was crap and caused me several headaches.

I have a 4K mile car with the 9" fan and all shrouding with a D1, if you idle alot or drive at slow speeds (min airflow) it will run hot, maybe not overheat but it will be 230 plus in 95 degree heat. Been there.

It one thing to take short trips in the car and another to be caught in traffic on a hot summer day. Turn the AC on and all bets are off with the ATI fan shroud, doesn't even come close to dealing with all that heat.
