im no expert at all, but since i like to read what other people do to there cars (FI) that I only dream about, on a 418, an 88mm or a 91mm single would be stout. However, the twin 74mm's would also make sick horses. You have to remember, there are people on here running single 76mm's on 346 cubes, and even then they can be maxed out. Hell a 3.0L supra puts an 88mm on it.

One of those type and not really think about it ? days.

Unless it's doable.
I would suggest Twin TC76's, just talk to LASTLS1 on this board. He is running twin TC76's on his 400+ci LS based motor and loves them.

I already know about lastls1 setup, and have seen it do a few passes,
I saw another member here have twin 42s. Thats what gave me the thought, if i already have one, why not make it twin!?

Thats one of the reasons i asked, what would the out come be? of having twin 42s?

so twin 42s are not going to net 1000+ hp?

It's try to use what i got with one more, and see if it will work, or go big single.

i keep getting tc76, and i have the fealing that it would be good if i wanted to drive on the street. A. i dont care about the street. track car only.

if twin 42s dont work thenplease give me reasons.
GT42's will also work, but they are big for twins and spool up a good bit slower. We have them on the shelf as well if you need one, but I kind of like the small package of the TC's and they spool like a baby turbo.

Hear what your saying and thats what i figured as well, im sure im going to do the twin gt42s since i allready have one. It would be interesting for a build to do!. Not really worried to much about spool up time, since i will be around 9:5.1 - 10:0.1cr more or less for sure around 9:5.1.

whats your price on a gt42?

Send me a PM...I will get you squared away. Also we need to know which GT42 and what A/R you are running, as to match them the same.
