Default blowing seals...

the exhaust manifold gaskets keep failing.. both heads and manifolds have been re-surfaced any suggestions for gaskets and locking bolts? i've seen the ones with the allen head in the middle of the bolt. they look easier to put in then the ones with the locking clips. what size do i need?

Also if the car is turboed check the backpressure. Could be leading to failures reguardless of which gasket.

A penguin drops his car off at a mechanic in Arizona and goes to have an ice cream to cool off. He comes back an hour later and the mechanic says "Well buddy, it looks like you blew a seal....."

Penguin says "No man, I just had some ice cream......."

I used the Stage 8 locking bolts on my LT4, they always worked great. I was always worried about the center allen locking bolt seizing up in the other brand bolts.
