The distributor is belt driven off the camshaft. The front of the motor has 5 belts! Cam, distributor, drysump, fuel pump and of course the blower............

Hey Kurt my name is Travis a friend of Ronnie's. I met you that day i got the water for his car when you were in line. Can't wait to get my car back from you guys with my new motor swap that kelly is getting done right now. When it gets done we are gonna take it to Millian and see what it does. John, changed trans first gear from 2.48 to 2.10, installed wheelie bars, slowed blower down 5000 rpm. Took 4.10 out and put in 3.91 gear. Heading to Norwalk in the morning to see how it goes. Wheelie bars are the widest i have ever seen, they come thru the ex cut outs in the rear fascia. Had to keep them wide so the panhard rod would still be there. Won't have the tailpipes on it for Norwalk but i think they can still be put back on.

Took the TA out for some last minute practice. Went 8.8x 4 runs in a row @ 158-159. Took motor apart last night for new head gaskets and look see. Everything looking good for Thunder.... see you there
