Procharged C6Z?

I all depends on what you like. Some people like drive ability that is nearly the same as a stock car. Then some like the sound and shake from a nasty heads and cam setup. It comes down to personal preference really. Step back and take a look at your goals. If you want 550-600whp it can be done either way, although 600whp is a bit of a stretch n/a. You can achieve it easily with forced induction and if you want to make more power down the road the job will be easier.
One thing to note hear is I do not like to take a stock short block ls7 much over 600whp with FI and pump fuel. They cost a lot to fix when they break pistons, some thing I do not want to do.

We did a D1SC kit on a 2006 Z06 that shipped to the Ukraine. Stock it made 440 RWHP / 430 RWTQ. We added Longtubes and a Borla catback and it made 601 RWHP / 550 RWTQ with the stock D1SC pulley. He wanted to pulley it, but we recommended against it with the stock internals.
This car isn't babied by any means and still running strong. I talk to the customer regularly and he loves it. He mainly roll races it (40-160 mph).
Here are a few videos filmed in the Ukraine:

Bob dyno looks close to ours on what stock Z06's dyno.Prochargers are great, retain stock drivability with the extra power and added highway gas mileage.
Right now we are in the process of doing an 06 differently.Stock Cam with all bolt-ons including head work.We are at 490rwhp and hope to hit 530-540rwhp(Mustand Dyno) while still running the stock Cam.Stock drivability is key.

My dads 08' LS3 A6 (#7 P-1SC, LG headers, ZO6 mufflers, a small cam/springs, Yank 3200SS and 60lb injectors)
580/499 on a Mustang dyno. Pretty impressive convertible, I think. $15k with labor.

I want to try and keep the internals the same. Keep it under 600hp.
APS is nice, but just to much cutting on the car for my taste...I'm not sure how much is required for the Procharger with the IC

Personally, I love the sound of a full exhaust, cammed LS7. They make excellent power and still retain very good drivability, plus you don't have as much of a chance to break parts as a boosted car.

Any Procharger install can be done easily. There's no hacking or whacking. I ran his car with Nitto's and got a best of 11.12 @ 128. Couldn't hit a 10. I thought it did pretty well for being a convertible. But, others are in the 11's with just bolt ons too. All I know is that I shifted great. LOL A6
