Think if it as the rear freewheel on a bicycle. It accelerates with increased engine RPM but let off the gas and it freewheels and coasts down. This will save a cog/M6 setup and is great for keeping boost between shifts cause it doesn't have to work to spin the impeller through it's entire range to come back up to speed.

You might be referring to me. I had 10rib pulleys made but then decided to go with a cog since I'll be spinning an F2 rather violently. The brand new 10rib pulley setup and my brand new F1R are for sale. Yes they will work with all acc and A/C.

Yeah, it was you. do you have some pics you can share? this is on a f-body though, not an rx7. That would be pretty cool if the 10 rib works on the f-body with a/c and everything

My procharger setup IS for an Fbody. I'm having to make alot of mods to fit it into and RX7 but the whole supercharger setup is straight from and Fbody so they will work with ac and everything. I don't have any pics with the 10ribs set up.

Where would you go about buying one of these brackets? How much do they run.

I think they are in the $500 to $600 range. They are quite heavy and I have heard they are not very reliable. We haven't tried one ourselves, but I heard about the reliability from a very good source. Bob

$600 I believe. I looked into one for my car so it didn't whine at idle, the idea of locking back up to spin the blower while the motor sits at 1k seems kind of violent to me though.

Yea, I found it for $463 or something like that on summit's website.. I'll just keep to my basic ATI 8 rib setup for now I guess. I look forward to hearing results from how it works out for 93formto98T/A on his RX7. If I ever upgrade to a F1C or something, I may keep that option in the back of my mind

I run a F1C on my car, with a/c, p/s, 4ch abs, custom FMIC and all that. i use the SDCE 8 rib setup and it is fine at upwards of 20# boost. not that the cog setup isn't a bad idea, but not a necessity on a real street strip car. if you have a drag car, then the cog is the way to go.
