No there would not be enough engine vaccume, as that vents on the inlet side of the throttle blade not the manifold side.

You will just have to take your boost ref etc from a different source, i made a small manifold and put it in the brake booster line for multiple boost/vac take offs.

Mightymouse told me to simply cap off the line going into the throttle body from the passenger side valve cover... and instead run the line to the inlet side of the turbo.

What about the oil that gets passed and goes into the turbo, any detrimental affects?

Thats why you should run a catch can in between. Oil that gets into the turbo, then into the intake causes knock, and misfires.

Its a long path to go from the turbo up to the intake, I'm talking about getting the oil into the turbo.

an oil film probably won't hurt the turbo, but oil through the intercooler will reduce it's efficiency and oil vapour in manifold and chambers can cause detonation , not good on an FI engine.

Here's a link to my pcv thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...rs-inside.htmlSorry some of the pics dont work I removed them from my pic's. I was having the same problem with oil getting on the rocker covers. So I have the rear of the driver side rocker cover and the front of the pass side rocker cover going to my home made vented catch can and the rear port on the pass side rocker cover is caped along with intake manifold port is caped.
