Default oil line fittings...brass or AN?

I'm making oil lines and my turbo is really close to my crank pulley and my oil pan is tapped on the front lip by the crank pulley. When my AN fittings and hose ends are put together the two hose ends are damn near touching. I would just have a couple inches of steel braided hose. Being the fittings from the turbo and out of the pan are so close, it not a gradual down hill grade, it more like flat, then a two inch steep down hill, then flat again into the pan. I figure with brass barbed fittings and just black rubber hose I could eliminate those flat spots. Just wondering how many people use barbed fitting for oil drain? Is AN lines more for looks?

Nobody has used just plain brass barbed fittings with clamps from the hardware store.

I have. Your first post was a little hard to read.

They will work fine. Go to a industrial/hydraulic store. They can custom make you lines with really tight radius fittings.

Example of store - www.stuarthose.com/

They had everything i needed

Your hydraulic guy may or may not know what an "AN" fitting is. But they will know what a JIC fitting is (basically the same thing).
