Default Aluminum vs. Iron

If built properly, how much boost could an aluminum block handel? I want to build something to withstand atleast 20lbs of boost, would an aluminum block work or would it just be smarter to go iron and build a 408 or something along those lines

Fireball was running 25-25 psi on his ls2 block with no issues, but if weight is not a concern i would always go with iron-less bore distortion and better ring sealing

Did that crazy person do a half fill or a full fill I would imagine that even a half fill would help a lot to stabilize the cylinders.

around 1000 at the wheels. By around i mean anywhere from 900-1000 at the wheels. I'd be happy with that.

Would an LQ4 be strong enough or should i go strait to LQ9? I wanted to do a truck manifold setup pushing around 18-20psi with a decently size motor.
