BTW, a manual boost controoler holds the wastegate spring closed to create higher boost levels than the wastegate alone (like 7PSI on a 5lb spring). It doesn't work the other way to reduce boost. Also 1lb of boost = approx 22hp. Would be the same as installing a lid on a stock intake.
