safe boost? i am saving up for a 2002 2003 corvette z06 with around 50000 miles so i dont wanna go into the block till i have to (shortens the life of the motor to much for me id rather rebuild it when it needs it)but i was lookn at the procharger system that runs at 7 psi of boost and i was wonderin how well the stock bearing and piston rings would hold up to that i also plan on an ls6 or fast intake along with those other intake goodies but if aany one could help me id appreciate it or direct me to a thread that already covers this i wont be doin any of this for likeatleast a year and ahalf but i figure the sooner i can plan and decide wat would work best together the better the numbers will be thanks again
Bearings and rings will be fine, and 7 psi, so should your pistons. However, I don't see the logic in putting FI on a car then not building the motor for it? I promise 12 psi on a stock motor will shorten the life of it a whole lot more than 12 psi on a forged motor. Lol.

well ill be in the navy im already enlisted just waitin to be shipped i doubt ill be able to go into the motor or pull it out for a new one mainly because i wont have anywhere to do it or have enough money to pay someone to do it i was thinkin6 or 7 psi but if i do go fi i wanna see if i can get one that the boost can be bumped up to 10 or 12 whenever i can go into the block
