My brother works for a division of Ehtyl....says it's all the same in the pipeline, the money is in the additives....which they add to the tanker upon filling up so it can mix up. They make additvies for shell, BP, Citgo and a few others. During testing they call Citgo their "dirty up" fuel...used to get the injectors/valves etc dirty. Shell is supposedly the best due to it's V-power additive which cleans everything and is overall the best to run. Chevron is good too. Stay far far away from wawa, sheetz etc when looking for good quality 93 octane.

My car seems to run better on BP and EXXON. I would NEVER run gas from those discount gas stations, there **** is watered down or something.....pay the extra few cents is what I say.

I've heard the same. All stations (even the discount ones) have the same gas. The additives are all that is different.

There is a select few Union 76's that have 100 at the pump around here, at least used to.

And nothing but VP Q16 for me now.

VP is a solvent based fuel so its more stable than many other brands. (C12 here)

Damn i need to move to florida. Best we have around here is 91 octane, and i only know of a few gas stations that are ethanol free, the rest of them have up to a 10% blend of ethanol in the gas. I could fill up at the race track but that would be paying the race track premium. Hell maybe ill fill up at the airport lol
