new time on Nitto's
Track was hooking like a ****.
Car is a 2000 Pontiac Formula !WS6, 6-speed, NBM.

car also has the following mods: LS6 intake, 42# injectors, 160 stat, !cats, loudmouth catback, BMR subframes, BMR Torque arm, BMR STB, BMR DS loop, 3" chromoly DS, metco LCA's with relocation brackets, DTS 12 bolt with 33 spline axles and 3.73 gear.
raceweight is a TON and some
3860 with me in the car

remember all these runs were made on 17" notto drag radials at 22 psi and no burnout. Just cleaned them off a bit by spinning them up to the line.
1st pass I launched at 2000 rpm just trying to stay near the 12.0 mark since I have no cage. BOGGED to the tune of 11.998 at 126.19 on a 2.06 60'.
2nd pass figured they didn't warn me, so I launched a bit harder. 2500 still bogged a bit 11.885 at 123.69 and a 1.973 60'
ok 3rd pass, launch at 3000 and 11.669 at 123.38 on a 1.872 60'.
4th run was too much wheelspin at 3500 launch and a 11.863 at 125.20 on a 2.09 60'.
5th run was the best run. 32-3300 rpm launch and a 11.554 at 123.89 and a 1.902 60'

last run I launched a bit too hard again and ran 11.744 at 123.57 on a 1.947 60'.
NOW almost all these passes were leaving stripes on the 1-2 shift and felt like a small amount of spin into 3rd. also the 125 and 126 mph run I was on the limiter about 15 feet before the traps.
I am very happy, to say the least. 11's at my weight and a 17" nitto is a bit tough.
On an et street last fall I have run 11.21 at 121/122 and a 1.53 60'. NOW I just need stanton to hold a 5500 rpm 2-step dump on the et streets. lookout 10's.

also when I make a pass on the et's I am definately getting the power down better since I usually run 99-101 traps in the 1/8th and this day I was down to 92-96.
Joe, lookout; I am coming for ya
.
