SO i finally got a little something done with the car this weekend, finished the oil drain and feed line setup with the oil pan, the stock radiator and the pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body was way to tight, so i picked up a griffin radiator that you guys buy to put vertical but i decided to just let it sit like the stock style because i didnt want to cut up my car any more ha, also picked up a few other little things too. Pretty much now i just have to get the alternator relocation kit, fans, and a 3 bar map sensor if i decide to do speed density. Here are some pics of everything mocked up

Oh I want a KYTP kit so bad..so bad....I wish I could decide one thing to spend my money on instead of half a dozen.

So you are NOT keeping the A/C? I missed that part.

I think your center section is probably at too much of an angle to gravity drain right. I think they reccomend to keep the angle under 30*at worst.

If you get a 3 bar map, you have to have a 3 bar tune. Keep that in mind. Build looks good

What manifolds does your kit use?

I talked to Josh about doing a C6/truck manifold setup that will let me keep my A/C and P/S. It uses a tubular k member but that isn't a big deal and I don't have to space out my sway bar.

I have thought about having all the hot side coated/wrapped to help keep under hood temps down and spool time.

Is that what you are going to do?

Thanks for telling me i wouldn't have known, cant i just loosen the bolts on the turbo and rotate the center section to the right angle or would that be wrong?

I am using the truck manifolds for my build, and on the exhaust side of the kit im kinda going the cheap way out and just painting everything with high heat header paint and wrapping all of it with header wrap, im hoping it will hold up but i dont drive the car in the rain or nothing like that.

Man that is coming along nicely. Josh and KYTP really do make a nice drop in kit. When do you anticipate having it on the road.

Alright i got alittle bit done this weekend i painted and wraped all the hot parts, made brackets for the radiator, mounted the fans, dropped the pipe that goes to the TB off to get a bung welded for IAT sensor, modifed and bought some different radiator hoses, the only things left to do is bolt the cold side up, get a alternator relocation kit, 2-bar map sensor, and thats about it so i am very close to getting done
What do you guys think of the pipe that connects the upper radiator hose, i just ran the little line from the heads, do you think it will be fine or work that way? I just needed the other nipple on the radiator for the overflow.
Also do yall think the drain line for the turbo will work good or should i re-arrange it?

I'd flip it around and put a dump pipe on it.

Measure the distance from the WG flange to the othe side of the charge pipe. I will make you a Dump tube if you want.
