Do you think 1,000 RWHP is possible with either the X-Trim or the upgraded YS-Trim on say: a 427 iron block with C5R heads and a sheetmetal intake. Built with the best parts available like you mentioned. 4L80E tranny and a built Ford 9" rear-end.
Project "WS6sc1000" is brewing in my head.
I'll be better able to tell you in a few weeks whether an X would make 1000 rwhp with your setup, but it probably would. I would drop the 80E idea in favor of a T350 or 400.

Would a non-computer 400 with GearVendors OD work perfectly?
Or would you have to up shift and down shift manually?
The 80E is a 400, just with computer controlling.
