159.91 MPH today at Norwalk Ron Duke's 2001 TA ran 159.91 MPH at the camaro club tnt day. Unfortunatly the trans brake quit so it only went 8.7X. Thanks Todd (reckless) for letting us use your entry to get in. Lots of cool hotrods there today....

And that 8.74 pass was on a very soft launch. Looked like Kurt just rolled into it and then stabbed it. Nice driving BTW Kurt. The car was struggling for traction on the big end all day.

I agree with Todd the car on the 8.74 pass had a very soft launch and still went that fast. Nice talking to you guys yesterday also, hope you make it back for the spring club event. I also agree with Dave, that lic.plate frame is cool.

Re: 159.91 MPH today at Norwalk 422 SS, the car always commands my full attention. We think we can make it alot better as we test it. I think its the combo of the 10.5 28 tire and the high car weight. We could always turn the power way down....NOT
