Hey guys, I just installed a KB boost-a-pump and am looking for a good way to test it other than street runs in boost.

It uses a Hobbs type switch to activate on boost, I have this tee'd into my boost gauge line. Is it safe to jump the 2 wires from the Hobbs switch together in order to activate the booster pump at idle so I can measure voltage increase as I turn the dial?

Found the answer to this. Seems some guys, mainly Ford folks, solder these wires together and run like that all the time. In that case my test plan was clearly safe. Test was successful. Thanks for looking!
