WOW David, this looks great! Is that the Super Vic Intake also? Love the color, that was a great choice, but I didn't see anything wrong with the original color either? LOL!

Thanks. I loved the NBM, but after 12 years, it was time for a change.

Just a regular Vic Jr. Would have love to been able to fit the Super Vic in my budget. But that the brake of a build like this.

Next set of pictures/progress. All the body panels are on. Turbo, all piping, most of the water lines are finalized.

5 INCH EXHAUST Sorry about the dirty tires

I love the radiator setup. I'm building a baby version of this with my 93. I'm not sure on how it sizes, but my new turbo is coming and from what I gather it is right around the same physical size as the 106. Did you choose to run a remote water pump because of the DP or was there another reason? Could you take some pictures of the water pump for me? I think it is right under the passenger side of the cross over, but it's hard to tell how it is mounted, etc...

EDIT: I also like how the rear metal was redone to make the water tank and fuel cell mount flush in with it. That's a very nice touch.

Water pump: a little better flow, and room I'll try to get a better picture of it.

My builder is all about class, something no one else has done, and reliability

Each to the own. Mine will be mainly strip, but will also be just legal enough to drive once in a while on the street.

Here is the new addition. Carbon fiber inserts for the front and turbo intake. Made by one of our local guys. Pretty sweet

I want to see a closer picture of how the valve cover vent hoses are routed to that box. I really like that coating on everything. What is it?

How do you expect to drive that thing on the street...it has 5-inches of death protruding from the bumper?

Thanks guys.

The value covers, tanks, cold side piping are all powder coated - wrinkle black.

I'll get some better pictures of the lines from the valve cover to the tank when finished.

The carbon fiber inserts are custom made for me by a friend here in Sioux Falls. To my knowledge a one off insert - want one?

David,

I can't get the pics to pull up from where i am at right now, but would you mind commenting on your DP exiting location? I have a DP ready for my setup(also 5" and exiting in front of front passenger tire).

I have been told by a few that this could pose as a legality problem in some races/events. Was this a concern for you?

The exhaust exits just in front of the passenger side tire.

There is a lot of races that do not allow this type of exhaust. BUT I'm in South Dakota and will not be racing in any of the big races. Maybe - big maybe - the LSX race this fall, but we can change the exhaust if we have to.

Good luck on your build.

THANKS to everyone on the great comments. We didn't finish the SS, but are going to still take it to the World of Wheels show in Omaha NE this weekend.

David
