Louis, the TC's are much smaller and compact.

Only upgrades I see happening is whatever you could fit in the APS compressor/exhaust housings.

The compressor cover inlet is machined off for a 3-bolt flange/o-ring induction tube. The OD of the compressor cover is about .250 from the frame rail.

Exhaust housing is T3 but offset pattern. (exhaust housing inlet is not centered in bolt pattern), plus it has an odd sized wastegate hole cast in.

Nice #'s btw Louis! It would be interesting to see the power curve at 7k with that amount of boost.

That torque curve is sick.

I'd also throw out a Vegas bet that a GT35R with a 1.0x turbine ar is pretty close powerwise to a TC76 in a twin app.

Send me one to try then, I have no problem seeing what will and will not fit

The LSx was chosen on this build for brute strength. I have built many of these setups (LSx block apps) and I was really not interested in doing R&D for warhawk like EPP did. The Stock LS7 stuff is great, however, one wrong move, and you are looking at a re-sleeve. I would run a stock LS7 on my own car, but with a car that we will stand behind if it fails, Im going for reliability. The LSx is stout, and the ability to rebuild it is nice too. Once I get these packages ironed out, the next thing will be weight reduction. An Alloy block fits that bill nicely These cars weigh 3400 fully loaded full tank of gas no driver It baselined at 3220 in the same, full tank of gas format

Louis, why the stock ls7 heads?on a fairly high $$ build overall, why not throw some ported heads on there at least.

Not exactly. The LS7 head moves enough air that it doesnt stall, or go turbulent with all the volume. A stock 241 or even 243 head would be a limiting factor as to what power it makes. You would have to see more boost psi on the gauge for the same power output.

BTW Louis, waiting some some invoices to come in. I may take you up on the twins and wategates.

i definitely dont agree that on a higher hp car the turbo does all the work.sure you make more power with more boost up to a point, but if you can make the same power on less boost then thats even better.i do see what youre saying though xfactor,i was disagreeing with big bird

What is the most boost a setup like this is capable of? Where would that land rwhp wise? I'm interested in a build along these lines, but I want to push the envelope a little, and maybe try ECS's powerglide setup along side it...PM me your thoughts and some pricing. I'm not that far away from you guys...Thanks--Andy
