Default air to water IC ?s

Well since this is a drag car only it won't be moving that much making an a2a IC a little less optimal than an air2water set up in this situation. I plan on running it in the same place that most people run there a2a setups(somewhat like the locations the EPP kits use) and was woundering what deminsions for the IC, also inlet and outlet locations and sizes would be nice. Also, does anyone have recommendations on a brand?

Thanks, Mike

I run an X0Z version. I think mine came with a 3.5" in/outs, but we cut them out and put in 4" in/outs. I'll have to re-measure it, but i think the core is 9.5" thick.

Edit: I "think" the MSD special edition CTS-v car that was in GMHTP was running the same intercooler in their setup as well.

Do you have any links or a website where I can take a look at them?

you need to match the size of the I/C to your anticipated power potential...

Take a look at our site. We can get you set up with the right IC for your goals. I will be running a 2000 HP rated IC in the nose of my car.

Are you talking about mounting the tank or the IC low?

The intercooler line we sell is Chiseled Performance. We work with Robert and have a setup that mounts in our bumper support. This puts the weight low in the car. It also surrounds the IC from potential damage.

The IC 1500 is 1300.00
The IC 2000 is 1400.00

V Band flanges are 120.00

A Powdercoated bumper support with mounts for the IC is 269.00.

I have several pics on our site in the gallery section for my car as well as the FI section of the IC mounted.

We can work on a tank setup as well. There are lots of options there too.

I'll deff. give it some thought. I have all summer to think about it while I gather the rest of the parts. Leaving it stock to run the '09 season. It does pretty good for only having 4.10s, headers and suspension and running 8.27 1/8 mile
