I am thinking of buying a ls6 427 from a person . I will be useing a vortech v3 t trim on it with 10 psi . Now this block has K1 crank,and k1 rods and wesco pistion's . This block also has darton sleeves to make the 427 ci. My Questiom is how reliable is the motor . Lme had built it for FI . 9.5-1 cr Will i have problems with the heads not sealing . NEED SOME HELP. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT U THINK befor I jump on this motor

if it were me i would look somewhere else depending on what price your getting it for. 427s are nice but for boost id go 370

also reliable is a hard question to answer.... do you know how many miles are on the motor and was this motor beaten on (sure it was) but with those factors untol itll be hard to say

What's so wrong with boosting a 427? If its what you want, then go for it. With you only pushing 10 psi, I don't think the motor will have any problems holding that power.
