Default Coating Turbo Headers - which one recommended

I have a set of mild steel turbo headers that I am wanting to get coated. In the past I had a set of Hookers LT's coated for my LT1 about 6 years ago by Jet Hot with their standard coating. They have held up alright, with discoloration down at the bottom of the tubes. I would like to know which coatings people have had good luck with for their turbo headers (Jet Hot, CE, etc....)

If you could list who you used, which kind of coating it was, and how well has it held up. If you have any additional feed back, (great service, issues that came up, excessive length of time to get your parts coated, damage to your parts, etc...) throw those in too.

Thanks,

I applied some stuff called black satin. Worked nicely if applied correctly. To be honest, stainless is still the best.

Jet hot 2000 is the best . I have had a set for 3 years and no chips are pealing. And as for stanless who keeps the same set up long enough to offset the cost. The stainless on a all out drag car seems to be crack prone. I have built a few sets and never had an issue with cracks but prep is the key to keep the suger out. Just use mlid steel and jet hot 2000 and never worry . Stahl , burns or spd .

Exotic or QC coatings they use the same stuff as the jet hot 2000, but a lot easier on the wallet than Jet Hot

Sounds like the QC Matte black 2000 degree is the same as the Jet Hot 2000?

I didn't see where Exotic had a description of the coatings they offered.

Anyone else have experience with using QC to do ceramic coating?
