Bos,
DAYCO belts are great. Have not used them on a blower application yet, but they have done me right on NA cars.
Call Keith at Force Fed Performance out in CA. He is the shiznit on ATI. 530-755-0337. Great guy who knows his stuff. Just explain the situation to him and then see what he has to say.
Call Keith!!!
Hope this helps.

I've tried Dayco. The don't compare to a Goodyear Gatorback.

Bos, what fan setup do you have? I mean I'm thinking really outside the box, but i just don't see why you are having so much trouble with such a modest boost level. My napa belt has like 4K miles on it without issue. granted I think I've only hit 8 psi one time do to issues with the car. I suppose that could be why my belt is holding up. But I routinely will see 5 psi with no slip. Just trying to think what might be different with your setup that causes your belts more stress.

Re: LAST CRY FOR HELP WITH MY D-1SC PROCHARGER!!!!
I have a somewhat bias opinion on superchargers(I run a Vortech) But now after spending numerous hours on Brians car I am glad that I made the choice that I did! Today I setup the entire blower from scratch making sure that everything was parallel and square.Using the crank as referance. I used gage blocks and remade all the standoffs to get the blower bracket within .003 .It was WAY off! If this doesn't solve the problem then I suggest ATI gets involved and remedies this situation that has been going on far to long!

I really don't think changing the belt will help you. I have installed and had an ATI Procharger on my car over 1.5 years ago. I have seen all the problems with them. If your belt is shredding...that is not because it is slipping..the only time I have had or seen a belt shredding is because of the idler pullys being located wrong...due to improper bracket thickness..like I said it was a common practice for a couple months (until ATI fixed it) to mill the bracket/blower .060....I will restate that I was running between 13-15lbs of boost on my car..no slipping (never shredding) on the street or dyno! Only at the track did it slip (never shred)when the motor/blower is under a load because the tires are gripping...then the belt slips..I think a bigger crank pully/8 rib/modified bracket will resolve this issue on a 346cid...but have yet to see it really work on a 427. I know that guy just ran in the 8's with an F1 and a totally insane setup...so it shows that is can be done with a small bore.
