Rotrex Supercharger kit (W2W)
My truck is a 2006 Chevy signature series RST. White with hugger orange stripes, Jon Moss signed gauges, orange houndstooth/orange stitched black leather. 1 of 200 blah blah
I refuse to let the economy sway me to give my truck away and since it's been for sale and I work overseas mostly I have had some self control and not modded it.
Here's the rundown of what it's got:
Stock 5.3/A4
W2W's non-intercooled Rotrex supercharger kit. The blower is the C38 model I believe and is supposed to be capable of supporting 600hp.
JBA coated shorties that come with all RST trucks.
Here's what I'd like to do because honestly I'm bored with it but there's no sense in giving it away.
I need an intercooler. When W2W was around they had this kit with an air to water intercooler. I hope one of them sees this and gives me a shout! Otherwise, the best option I believe would be custom plumbing for my own intercooler...prob air to air.
I would also like to know what pulley size I need to get for this in order to run 8-9 psi on a stock 5.3.
I don't know what pulley it came with (installation was done @ W2W) and it has no boost gauge so I have no idea how much boost it's seeing. If it helps it put down 300rwhp and 335tq last time it was on the dyno.
This was through the JBA shorties, stock catted Y, and a flowmaster.
^That will get upgraded to longtubes, non catted duals with magnaflow bullets.
I'm really just hoping to at least sneak up on 400rwhp/400tq. Anyone that can help me out with the oddball supercharger stuff, let me know. Thanks!
the pulleys might be a problem but you could always take them to a machine shop and they could make the smaller ones for you
Two reasons I like it better than a D-1 or Maggie.
1- I already own it.
2- It's ABSOLUTELY silent. You wouldn't know it if you had your ear by the grill at WOT.
Look at the size of this pulley!
