5.3 turbo questions
5.3 turbo questions I am wanting some opinions on which t70 to run on my 5.3 engine. This is a junk yard build. I will be using stock 5.3 heads, intake, cam. I have ordered my 60 pound injectors already. I am going with a master power t70 I am just unsure on which one to go with. Which a/r? Which flange? Where is the cheapest place to pick one of these up. I know the .68 will spool faster. The goal of this build is the quickest et possible. I will be running a th350 with around a 3500 stall.

You will need a mp-t70 with an .96 exhaust housing go to the the turboforums somebody is always selling one there.

.96 a/r will work fine. If you have the budget, try to find a zo6 cam and upgrade the valve springs/pushrods as well. You should check out parish's old turbo fairmont http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...=393636&page=2
He did your exact same build, but started with the T4 .68 housing and later upgraded to the .96 and cam. Really helped to wake the power band up.
