Default Those with aftermarket radiators.....

All of those with a turbo setup and aftermarket rad what did you do with the head coolant crossover tube? My after market rad has one bung on the cap neck for the overflow tank... What do I do with the other hose?

You want it as high up on the tank as you can get it but still below the cap.

I think what he's asking is if you drilled and tapped or if you welded it. I think I'm going to drill and tap it and see if that is what's causing the overheating for me.

I machined up a fitting at work then had it welded on. I made it the same size as the stock hose. Don't do that. Lol finding a hose was a pita. Make it the same size as the line coimg off the heads.

I stuck mine right under the neck on the radiator. But a friend of mine did a swap in an old truck and we tapped the top of the water pump, looks clean and works fine.

I would avoid tapping the rad. my griffin was very thin. I don't think you could even get 2 full threads in there.

now a water pump is probally ok, even the oil pan seemed pretty thin.

ya my griffin was, in my opinion, too thin to tap. plus the rad shop welded it for 20buck and its done right!

The flat spot on top of the water pump. Take the radiator hose off of the pump stick a vaccuum in there and drill and tap it!! There is a thread on here with pics some where!!

I drilled and tapped on the tanks about a half inch down. Much easier than trying to get someone to weld it since I can't weld. I just used some grease to catch the shavings and none got into the coolant.
