Guess what happens to a car with an open burst panel...........car shoots up to 5k rpms and stays there
It looks like there are A LOT of people having issues with there FAST intakes. The 90mm one i had (before the nitrous backfire) NEVER gave me any issues. What the hell is the problem with all this new ****?
I'm reconsidering the new 92mm from FAST now.

1- No way will that fit under the cowl of an fbody

2- Better be prepared to wait a LONG time for that. They keep pushing the release date back further and further every passing week!

Can you post the flow #'s between the two please to support that claim? I can't stand blanket statements.

Depends what hood you have.. Hood isnt the issue tho, thats an easy fix.. Its the cutting a huge chunk out of your cowl and windshield wipers thats gonna be the problem man! Look at the dimensions and go out and measure for yourself if ya dont believe me.

You would even have to have a custom windshield made and redo the whole cowl. It not even considerable in an f body.

Ok maybe (probably) I am dumb, but does the intake make that much of a difference with FI? I always thought with preasure in the intake that flow was not as important?

No, you are right. It shouldnt make that much of a difference unless you are just concerned what the boost pressure itself is going to do to the manifold. As has already been posted, the FAST seems to have a couple of people who have had problems with it standing up to the boost. I think that I am the only person to have ever had problems with a factory composite LS6 manifold holding up to boost. Hence why I recommended the BBK which is aluminum.
