Default Official MP T88 thread

Due to the many, many phone calls, pm's, and emails I figured I should start a thread.

Masterpower has officially confirmed that a T88 is in the works. The release date has not been decided, the price has not been decided, and the specs have not been released.

I will update this thread as soon as I receive ANY info.

Thanks
Rob@modularturbo

Rob how is this 88mm turbo gonna stack up aginst the competition? Is it soley just gonna be a price war deal, or is it gonna have the oats to do the job that the other 88's on the market are already doing?

LOL

I don't sell parts that don't "stack up". If the MP T88 sucks I won't recomend it.

As far as I know MP doesn't just make turbos so they can trade them for money, ie: chinese ebay turbos. The owners of the company are very passionate about improving and adding to their selection especially since they are car guys. They, like any company that is worth its' salt know that the only way to increase business is by great products that perform great. Have you seen the latest T70 revision that thing is awesome.

I am not saying the guys at MP are not good guys or not car guys.
I am asking if it will stack up against the comparable competition on any other grounds than price. Everyone here who knows anything of the turbo game has seen the results of the other MP turbos compared to the competition.

What type of revision has been done to the MP T70? Are they offering it in more A/R sizes? Please fill me in on the latest, Rob. Thanks.

Sorry for the OT, but...

Supercharger is never a restriction, it takes what ever boost it is being feed buy the turbo and compounds it buy the pressure ratio it is geared to run. I'm only running 10psi right know with a 7PSI spring in the WG (the WG is referenced to post blower) and pulled to make about 7 psi on the blower. Gonna work on turning it up later this week. Looking to make about 15-17 psi on this setup with no real lag
